Dear business history friends,
Recently, our American Business History Center added the “Share Your History” section to our website.
Many of us have been part of, or witness to, a bit of business history. Our parents and grandparents often spent their lives with one company or in one industry. We would love to put your stories on our website!
To start this effort, we already have six diverse stories posted by three contributors.
As an example of the intersection of business history with people’s lives, we here present one of those stories. This one is about my father’s two decades with an Indiana glassware manufacturing company. We hope you enjoy reading the story…..and hope it will inspire you to submit your own stories for others to learn from!
